Bill O’Reilly, the author of Killing Patton, is the anchor of The O’Reilly Factor. It is the highest rated cable news show in the country. He also writes a syndicated newspaper column. O’Reilly is the author of Killing Lincoln, Killing Kennedy and Killing Jesus. Martin Dugard is the New York Times Bestselling author of various books about history.

Killing Patton is about the final dramatic months of World War II in Europe. The book gives the reader the information of how very valuable General George S. Patton Jr.’s contributions to the Allied victory were. He died in a car accident in December of 1945 just days before he was scheduled to return to the United States. The characters of the book are even more remarkable; Joseph Stalin, Adolf Hitler, Winston Churchill, and Franklin Delano Roosevelt. For almost seventy years people have suspected that Patton’s death was not an accident but an assassination. Bill O’Reilly reveals the true man that Patton was and the many powerful people who wanted him dead.

Reading Killing Patton is like reading a popular thriller. It is an excellent read.
