Mary Jane Butters at the age of 45 started her own mail order business. She wrote a catalogue full of organic foods that were grown on her Idaho Farm. Butters previously made her living as a carpenter, waitress, seamstress, secretary, janitor, wilderness ranger and milkmaid. She is the owner of her own flour mill and created the Farmgirl Connection, which is a website that brings together hundreds of women sharing their hearts and their dreams.
MaryJane’s Ideabook – Cookbook – Lifebook is full of recipes, gardening tips, stitching and other crafts and ending up with a chapter on cleaning up. The whimsical book has great little drawings, great photography, and wonderful sayings and quotes from others. I am a certified MaryJane Farmgirl so I absolutely enjoyed this book from cover to cover and refer to it constantly.
