Ken Magill’s There, He’s Crying is an entertaining and emotional memoir. You are taken through the author’s childhood all the way to adulthood and experience the highs and lows that he’s experienced. I found his writing style to be very compelling and heartfelt, of course with a touch of humor. Even though it is someone else’s story, I think you’ll find yourself relating to the author. And he even goes over some things that have happened in history such as 9/11. I found myself feeling all kinds of different emotions, there were hilarious sections and there were sad sections.
I think that Magill has a real talent in writing. I appreciate his candidness and I appreciate that he touches on the dark side of life. People may not like talking about it but we all go through dark times. It’s good to know you’re not alone. In a memoir like this, that is essential. He also has a great sense of humor… And that is a very important to have in this world. This book made me think a lot. There are some very special moments in this memoir that’ll hit you right in the gut. I really liked There, He’s Crying and the way Magill reflected on his own life. I know I speak not only for myself, but for other readers out there too, this is a touching memoir and you won’t regret picking it up. It’s fun and intensity bundled into one book.
