Author, Serena Thompson, of The Farm Chick’s Christmas is an extremely warm and personal lady. I personally was able to meet her at the Washington State Fairgrounds in Spokane. At that event, she autographed her book that I purchased with this inscription – “Make Every day be like Christmas.” With a drawn heart and then signed Serena. The inscription truly says it all about the publication. Serena Thompson is a co-founder of The Farm Chicks Antique Show which is held once a year at the fairgrounds in Spokane. Serena is also a contributing editor for Country Living Magazine.

In the book, The Farm Chick’s Christmas, you visit her home on a farm via well done photography. The book has pictures of her home decorated various ways for the holidays with pictures of her husband, children and friends. Each decoration has instructions on how to do these beautiful items in your own home. The book also includes ideas, projects, and savoring recipes you will want to cook for many Christmases to come.

The author, Serena Thompson, illustrates festive gift wrapping and packaging. She introduces crafts such as Christmas balls, bulbs, collections centerpieces and wreaths. The book also includes stickers and note cards that can be a part of the reader’s homemade Christmas.

I personally felt that the book was very warm and inspiring. The book has so many ideas to craft as a family or perhaps with your Grandchildren. I enjoyed the book very much. I highly recommend this book for anyone who loves Christmas.
