Tone Finnager, the author of Tilda’s Studio, tells the story of her own studio. The book is inspired by her workshop and every chapter is about one of her displays. Tilda’s Studio contains 50 projects for the reader’s home and their loved ones.

Finnanger has a section in her books about making dolls – actually angels out of different kinds of fabric and embellishments. She instructs the reader how to make butterflies, bows and patches. She gives instructions for bracelets, rings and belts. Each item being crafted has pictures, diagrams and complete patterns. Finnager shows the reader how to make quilts, cushions, slippers, purses and many more items. Her work is very whimsical and different.

Tilda’s Studio is a fun book just to have in your own craft studio for a whimsy idea you might have or to do something completely out of the ordinary. I enjoy the book and have it my sewing room. I refer to Tilda’s Studio now and again just for nothing else but to be inspired, to be different, to have fun!
